Tapestries in collaboration with Jonas Jeppesen

Jonas and I worked together on these two landscape images, designed to be woven, and produced them at TextielLab in Tilburg, NL in 2022.

The longer tapestry on the right is about 2 meters horizontally; while the one on the left is about 1.5 meters horizontally.

The images made to be woven, Jonas would give me a drawing and I would either try to make a landscape around this with 3D + a generative landscapes process, or I would give Jonas a landscape that he would draw over.

Below are just other images that I was making around that time, to show the 3D process. On the image on the right I was taking inspiration from Byzantine/Russian icons and "Reverse Perspective", I wrote a camera plugin that would make far-away objects seem larger than close ones, and then construct a landscape to be viewed this way.
